Hi, I’m Pragyananda. 👋
I’m a Junior Research Fellow at Swami Rama Himalayan University, where I work on NLP and document AI. Before that I spent two years as an AI Engineer at CAIR Lab, Institute of AI, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, building LLM and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for document-heavy domains: HistoAI, an OCR, knowledge-graph, and RAG ecosystem for historical books that I continue to develop at SRHU; Innopat, an AI patent-drafting assistant; a legal case matching system for the Supreme Court of India; and AURA, a tax-automation system for ride-share drivers in Australia.
My research so far covers machine-generated text detection (COLING 2025), narrative similarity (SemEval-2026 Task 4, where our AI-Monitors system ranked 3rd of 47), and computer vision for personalised Ayurvedic diagnosis (first-author paper, MBCC 2025, Springer Nature). My current work on child-safe advertising is under review at the NLLP workshop.
I hold an MCA in Data Science and a BCA in Computer Science from DSVV, and I have a full stack background (Next.js, Django, Flask) with deployments on AWS, Azure, and Vercel.
