AI patent-drafting assistant that turns claims and disclosure forms into full specifications
Innopat automates patent drafting. Given the claims and an Invention Disclosure Form (IDF), it generates a complete patent submission: background, summary, detailed description, and claims, using RAG over prior art together with LLMs. At CAIR Lab I worked on the generation workflow and its evaluation: refining prompts for consistent technical terminology, improving parsing of PDF and DOCX inputs, and handling figure mappings and definitions so drafts come out accurately and professionally structured.
